Parent Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. We offer a variety of opportunities to get involved and make a difference in the lives of OC Band students. It takes a village to create a successful program. Help is needed in a variety of roles that vary from, sound crew to water crew to chaperoning, photography, and pit crew.
There is a job and place for everyone! Have a little or a lot of time? Great! We will utilize it and enrich the students experience.
It's Easy to Help in Just a Couple Steps!
- Complete DVUSD Volunteer Training. This only has to be done 1 time (at some point in your child’s school career). OC hosts a number of training sessions and/or can help you find one at any DVUSD school.
- All volunteers must obtain an IVP/DPS Fingerprint card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Simply go to DigitScan in Deer Valley located at 2550 W Union Hills Dr.Suite 350, Phoenix, AZ digitscandeervalley@gmail.com (Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm).
- Lastly, request the school QR code from Amber Her (committees@eagleprideband.org). This is a requirement for all OC Volunteers each year they help.
