Color Guard is a team of girls & boys who perform choreographed dances and routines with various equipment to enhance and interpret the music of a marching band. Like Winter Guard, they use various equipment such as flags, rifles, and sabers. They perform using their equipment (flag, rifle, saber, prop), and emotional connections (facial expressions and dance) to the audience to enhance the meaning and feeling of their show. Color Guards perform with marching bands at competitions and during football games. During marching band competitions, the Guard adds to the overall score of the band and can be judged in many categories including but not limited to visual effects & auxiliary.

Winterguard is a separate activity, which is an indoor sport usually performed during the winter or spring, where the guard performs unaccompanied by a marching band to a piece of pre-recorded music indoors. Our Winterguard is split into a varsity team (Blue) and a JV team (Gold). No experience needed, our highly skilled and talented staff will help with dance, rifle and saber fundamentals. All you need to bring is the determination to put in the hard work and soar like an Eagle!
