Concert Ensembles

Concert Band is designed for all incoming freshmen. This entry level course will provide literature in various, contrasting styles. The class is designed to build fundamental skills through basic, enduring, technical, and tone exercises. This is a great opportunity to fine tune playing and listening skills in an ensemble setting. This band is a performance based class and all evening concerts and rehearsals are required. If Freshman wish to audition out of the Freshman group, they will need to audition one-on-one with Mr. Cilone.

Symphonic Band is an intermediate-level ensemble consisting of our sophomore, juniors and seniors that are not part of the Wind Ensemble. This is an intermediate level course & a great opportunity to fine tune playing and listening skills in an ensemble setting. This band is a performance based class and all evening concerts and rehearsals are required.

Wind Ensemble is our highest level of ensembles, students who successfully audition will learn more challenging music theory and perform more advanced music. This is the opportunity for our advanced musicians to showcase their talent through the performance of advanced wind literature. 

Jazz Band performs throughout the school year, the members in the group are exposed to a thorough study of jazz through relevant and in-depth study of its rich history, significant events and figures that shaped the genre, as well as critical listening and viewing of recordings and videos.  The students currently meet before or after school and is not part of the class schedule.
