Band Awards night is Friday, May 17th from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Desserts will be served and the cost is $8 per person. Registration has officially begun! Please print out the registration form and follow the instructions on the form to register your student and family members who would like to attend. Registration deadline is May 10th.

Senior Photos

We always save a portion of the awards night to celebrate our graduating seniors. If you have a senior we need the following from you by April 26th. Please realize that the video shown that night takes at least a weeks worth of work just to put together and then 200 copies need to be made. Even if you do not have all your pictures, please send in what you do have so the process can begin. So far, we only have pictures from 4 seniors.

Pictures Needed:

  • 1 Baby picture
  • 1 Elementary School/Jr. High age picture
  • 1 Senior picture

These photos can be emailed (jpeg files preferred) to Dan and Joyce Russell at You can also send in a CD or DVD to give to Connor Russell. If you need help scanning or getting a copy to us please don't hesitate to contact Dan or Joyce.

Senior Wills

Another tradition for the seniors is leave a message to their favorite band members they will be leaving behind. You can find a Senior Will 2013 form here. Please have your senior complete the form and either email it to Jamie Andrews at or send in the printed copy to give to Breck Andrews. If you do send in the paper copy, please put it in a sealed envelope with the student's name on the front. The due date for senior wills is also April 26th because they will be included in the awards night program which needs to go to print.

Other Photos & Video

We are in need of photos and videos from any band event throughout the year. These will be on the video shown that night. Here are events we especially need pictures or videos from: Winterguard, Orchestra (String Ensemble) and Jazz Band. Photos (jpeg files preferred) and video can be emailed to Dan and Joyce Russell at You can also send in a CD or DVD to give to Connor Russell. If you need help scanning or getting a copy to us please don't hesitate to contact Dan or Joyce. These CD's will be available for purchase that evening for $5.


I do have most of the volunteer jobs filled but we can always use your help. I will especially need help with kitchen cleanup and main room cleanup at the end of the night. Please consider giving 15 to 20 minutes at the end of the awards night to help us clean up. The more hands we have the faster we get out of there! You can email me at if you are able to help. For those who have already contacted me about volunteering, I will be sending out a separate email later this week with more details.


We are in need of 2 or more big coffee urns/percolators that can brew 20 to 30 cups of coffee. If you have one we can borrow for the evening please contact Patti Doyle at or 623-271-1305. We only have one so far which means we will have a very limited supply of coffee to serve with the desserts unless we can round up another pot or two. We could always use another volunteer or two as well to help with coffee setup.

Photo Op

Our fun theme for the evening will be Disney! We are planning on having a Photo Op for the kids and parents to take pictures and we will also have volunteers there taking photos as well. We are in need of fun Disney photo props that the kids can use for pictures (wands, crowns, costumes, hats, etc with a Disney theme). If you have any that we could borrow for the evening please let me know and I can make arrangements to get them from you. Contact me at
